Reddit Free Mockup Mobile App
What is the best online tool to wireframe mobile apps/creating mobile app skeletons/mockup of mobile apps?
I understand there are a few like proto and balsamiq, but these aren't free. After 2 weeks, it expires and you cannot view the prototype anymore. =(
I need one that is simple to use and forever free. Help!

Marvel is a pretty nice prototyping tool. You can even use sketches of screens for your prototype. Unlimited projects for free.

I would look into http://www.invisionapp.com/. Don't spend too much time developing your initial wire frames. I made all mine on Photoshop or a comparable tool using invision's free graphic design kits. From there, you can test user interaction with your product to really iterate and make a consumer-friendly application. Check it out.

I dont think invision is for wireframing per se, I still had to use moqups or proto to do the actual wireframing
and yea, i dont want to waste too much time, but i need the best medium to get my thoughts out and make it clear to the tech team I am working with. =)

it expires after a few weeks and then you are forced to buy the subscription or else you cant edit/view your previous work. Am I right?

I've been using Proto.io for the past 6 months. Previously tried Flinto and Invision. Went for proto as it offers more control over details or each screen and action. Invision seems to be the industry standard, but mostly limited to screen transitions (and less robust when it comes to specific actions within screens).
Also, it depends on how and who you would like to share your prototypes with. Invision and Flinto are easier to share with simple links.

Care to share which price plan you got for proto and how useful it was?

I use Proto.io for prototyping web apps, but I assume it would be even more useful for mobile apps. It comes with a few handy mobile libraries (ios 7 and 8) and an android library. These library are a few useful components that are used in the UI- headers, tool bars, text fields, etc. It's also really easy to preview your projects on an actual device.

I suggest you try out Mockplus. It is a brand new (desktop- based) prototype tool.It is simple and very easy to learn. I am impressed with the intuitive interface. I can use this tool to create a responsive prototype rapidly without a single line of code. Mockplus is free if you don't export your design.
